Our Bridge Club will be continuing starting on January 6. If your child wasn't able to participate in the club the first time, or would like to continue participating, you may sign him or her up at pcsenrichmentactivities.eventbrite.com. Bridge is considered by many to be the most mind-stimulating card game ever. Ernestine Cutler of the New Jersey Bridge League and Merle Rose, both retired teachers, will lead students in discovering the concepts and strategies of what is thought to be the most popular card game in the world. Players of all ability levels are welcome. The group will meet on Thursdays from 3:15 to 4:15 starting January 6 until March 10. This club is open to students in grades 5-8.

Do you enjoy watching Food Network or Top Chef? Love to eat good food but have no idea of where to start? Want to display your culinary skills? Join Mrs. Carney and Mr. Hammell for some after school fun whipping up a few delicious treats. This club is open to students in 5th and 6th grade, and will meet Tuesday January 25 and February 1, 8, and 22 from 3:15-4:15 in the Charter Room. We ask that you bring in $10 to cover the cost of supplies. Please make check payable to Princeton Charter School and write Cooking Club in the memo.

Starting on Tuesday, February 1, Mrs. Huggins will begin hosting a creative writing club for grades 5-8. The club will meet every Tuesday in room 201 between 3:15 and 3:45. Participants will be expected to arrive armed with original works of short fiction and should feel comfortable sharing their writing with the rest of the club members. Students will have the opportunity to edit their work based on peer evaluations and teacher feedback. Mrs. Huggins will work with individual students interested in submitting polished pieces to appropriate writing contests.
